Spyridon Tegos

Dr. Spyridon Tegos is an Assistant Professor of Early Modern Philosophy at the University of Crete. Dr. Tegos earned his Ph.D. in Early Modern Political Philosophy from the University of Paris X-Nanterre with a thesis on the concept of social sentiments. Dr. Tegos has been published in many academic journals such as the Australasian Philosophical Review and Dix-huitime Siecle. In 2019, Dr. Tegos published Ritualistic Enlightenment. Beliefs, Religious and Political Rituals in David Hume and Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Dr. Tegos has also served as a Daiches-Manning Memorial Fellow in 18th-Century Scottish Studies and the University of Edinburgh.
